    The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission invited online Applications for recruitment to the post of Chemistry Junior Lecturers IN A.P. Intermediate Education Government Degree Colleges in A.P Collegiate Education Service for a total of 21 vacancies (CF – 05 and Fresh – 16) to maintain educational standards in AP Junior colleges.

    CURRENT RUNNING GOVERNMENT JUNIOR COLLEGE LECTURERS Notification: GOVERNMENT JUNIOR COLLEGE LECTURERS – 2018.

    IMPORTANT DATES:
    Date of Notification Announced: DECEMBER – 31ST, 2018 (MONDAY).
    Date of Start for Online Submission: JANUARY – 18, 2019 (FRIDAY).
    Date of Close of Online Submission: FEBRUARY – 08, 2019 (FRIDAY).
    (Note: 07/02/2019 is the last date for payment of fee up to 11:59 mid night).

    Date of Main Examination: PAPER – I: In the month of July 2019.
    Date of Main Examination: PAPER – II: In the month of July 2019.

    Date of Screening Test: If the number of applicants exceeds 25,000 in number, in subject wise, then The Commission conducts Screening Test. The Screening Test is in offline mode. If the screening test is to be held, the date of screening test will be communicated through Commission’s Website. Candidates selected in screening test are allowed to Main Examination which will conduct in online mode.

    APPSC Government Junior College Lecturers Screening Test Information: No Screening Test.

    Date of Main Examination: The main examination in online mode for candidates selected in screening test will be held through computer based test in the month of May 2019. There would be objective type questions which are to be answered on computer system. In case any paper of the Examination is held in different languages, the candidate has to choose the medium in which he/she wants to write the examination and the paper will be valued with reference to that medium only.

    SCHEME OF EXAMINATION:

    APPSC – GOVERNMENT JUNIOR COLLEGE LECTURERS Exam for recruitment to the post of Lecturers in GOVERNMENT JUNIOR COLLEGE LECTURERS shall consist the following two parts.
    Part – A: Written Examination – Objective Type: This part shall be common to all subjects. This part shall contain two Papers.

    PAPER – 1: General Studies & Mental Ability (Degree Standard): This paper shall contain 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), all are compulsory Questions. Each question shall be of one mark. The total marks allocated to this paper shall be 150. The duration of this paper shall be 150 minutes. For each wrong answer will be penalized with 1/3rd of the marks prescribed for the question.
    Questions pertaining to General Aptitude with emphasis on logical reasoning, graphical analysis, analytical and numerical ability, quantitative comparison, series formation, puzzles etc.

    PAPER – 2: Concerned Subject (One only) (PG Standard): This paper shall contain 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), all are compulsory Questions. Each question shall be of two marks. The total marks allocated to this paper shall be 300. The duration of this paper shall be 150 minutes. For each wrong answer will be penalized with 1/3rd of the marks prescribed for the question.
    Questions pertaining to the concerned subject in PG Standard.

    Part – B: Interview (Oral Test): The total marks allocated to this paper shall be 50.

    There is no separate cut – off for Paper-1 & 2, hence needs not qualify each and every Paper. The cumulative marks of all Papers are taken into consideration for drawing of merit list.
